DiResta Makewear was born out of Jimmy’s need to have jeans that had form and function while “making”. In 2013 he made his first pair on his YouTube channel and it has been viewed over 500K times. Since that time He has made several different versions, to arrive at the “Welders Jean”.

For DiResta Makerwear we selected a 13.5oz heavy weight, durable denim woven with USA sustainable grown cotton, in a pure indigo denim shade from Cone Denim, one of the oldest established denim mills in America blended with CORDURA® Nylon and patched with  CORDURA® Nylon Waxed Canvas from Carr Textile and Brookwood Fabrics leaders in workwear and performance fabrics in the USA.

100% AMERICAN MADE

Our eco finish recycled solid brass zippers and heavy-duty sewing thread are American made and sourced, maintaining a long tradition of manufacturing of jeans in America.

RECYCLED METAL

Makewear’s Custom Diresta logo hardware and die cast metal plates are made from 100% certified recycled brass, and uses 80% less water than traditional methods.

SUSTAINABLE METHODS

To further help the environment, our denim products are unwashed and raw, and all Diresta Makewear is shipped in 100% compostable bio plastic bags.

Each jean is hand cut and individually sewn in the USA, with techniques that include triple needle, chainstitch, reinforced belt loops and every seam is felled. The jeans and outerwear are raw & sold unwashed the old-fashioned way, so you can “grow a pair.”
